Weekend Update!

Hey Lovelies!! I hope everyone enjoyed the rest of the weekend!
I spent Saturday night at my parents house in the sticks, there house is freezing so I spent the evening wrapped up by the AGA reading! On Sunday, my sister came to picked me up and drove me bAck to Canterbury, we had a look round the shops and she started her Christmas shopping, I still haven't started mine, I usually leave it till the last minute! I have a few days off next week so I'm going to get it all done then.
After we had a look round we ended up going for lunch at The Old Buttermarket. It's the first time I've been here and I loved it, it had a nice relaxing atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. To eat we both had venison and red wine sausages with creamy mash, gravy and onion rings and a glass of pinot. it was so delicious! I would definitely recommend it!
Laura left a few hours after and I spent the rest of the evening catching up on fresh meat and Friday night dinner Which I am currently obsessed with!

My new work bag!

Hello my lovelies, hope your having a fantastic start to the weekend! I spent my Friday evening assisting with stock check in the parts department and it was freezing! I then had to sit on a platform and wait for my train home which was incredibly unpleasant! I would have much rather curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine watching rubbish on tv with my housemate.

So the other day I popped into the town in search of a new work bag, I had a lovely white Fiorelli one before which I have had for ages until the handle snapped!

I went into River Island and saw this!

It's perfect! It has one large compartment which fits all my stuff in I little pocket on the inside of the front and a zip pocket on the inside if the back. I've been looking for a bag like this for ages but wanted something with a bit more detail.

Louise Gray Topshop

Sorry I haven't blogged for ages!! Have just finished moving which wasn't easy to do along Side a full time job with long hours! But I'm pretty much settled now and I absolutely love it.

So who has spied the Louise Gray Topshop range then?

I have just checked it out and I want EVERYTHING!!

NOTD

So Today I have used Rimmel 60 second nail polish in rose libertine, its one of my favourite and I often wear it alot to work because it's not too bright. It says on the back that it's just one coat but I have used two to get better coverage. The brushes on these polishes are also quite big too so it literally takes one or two seconds per nail.

What are your favourites? Do you like Rimmel nail polishes?

She is a blue Rhone Cocker Spaniel and I absolutely love her, her favourite treat is a strawberry or slice of cucumber, she hides her toys under peoples pillows and she likes to nap in my clean washing basket when she thinks I'm not looking!

Moving!

Hey lovelies

So I haven't been posting recently because I've been soo busy. So I thought I would give you all an update!

I'm finally moving out again! This time for good! And I'm so excited!

I'm moving to Canterbury with one of my best friends and I'm so excited! The house is small and perfect and so close to the town!

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is packing!

 

So my MUA order arrived the other day, this is what I bought

Two lip booms, a lipstick and a lip balm

A pressed powder and a blusher

Two nail varnishes and a green eye dust.

I have tried a couple of the items and I'm so impressed with the quality of it all and I think it's fantastic if your on a budget but still want a little treat or two, I think I will definitely be using this site again.

Week/End

Hello my lovelies, hope your having a good week so far!
Sorry I've been a tad MIA lately work has been incredibly busy at the moment, but I have a load of blog posts lined up over the next week so you will be hearing a lot more from me!

My brother and I ventured out to see The Amazing Spiderman last week. I thought it was absolutely brilliant and the graphics were fantastic. Although I did have a bit of a cry, I'm such a softie!

I had a lovely weekend, I spent Saturday at my granddads house in Camber Sands with all the family. The temperature was so warm we were able to spend most of the day in the garden and on the beach. Then on Saturday I took Isla for a nice walk and spent the rest of the day in the garden reading.

ASOS Haul!

My ASOS delivery arrived yesterday.

I bought this dress for £12.50, it's from the petite range and falls halfway down my thigh. I think it would look great with a pair of ankle boots for a night out or with a chunky cardigan and leggings for in the day.

I also bought these bangles, although I probably shouldn't have because I have far too much already but I couldn't resist. The zebra print bangle was £4.00 and the set of four for £6.00.

This boyfriend t-shirt which wasn't in the sale, I paid £10.00 for. This is also from the petite range. I will probably wear with skinny jeans and boots

Last but not least! I bought this pretty cute ladybird scarf, I actually bought two because one of them is going to be a birthday gift! These were £6.00 each.

Sephora Hot Hues Neon Lip Balm

The other week I came across The clarins instant smooth Crystal lip balm, I was so intrigued but at £16.50 I thought it was a pretty pricey for a lip balm so I had a look round and discovered this!

This was after applying a couple of coats!

As you can see the bullet is see though!

 

I liked the packaging. I also really liked the feel of it on my lips, it applied really well and has left my lips soft and moisturised.

The only slight issue I had with it was it wasn't very bright and had to apply a couple of coats to get any colour.

Trilogy - instant bronzing gel

I don't think I will be using this product, I have never used fake tan as I worry about streaks and over doing it! So I think il be giving this to a friend!

LaylaD - honey moisturiser

I've already started using this it smells absolutely AMAZING! And it's left my skin lovely and soft too!

Freeze 24+7

Another product I don't think il be using my skin is very sensitive and exfoliators cause havoc with it.

Miners cosmetics - Love phat liner

I really like this product it's an eyeliner which you can use all around your eyes!

I received 'bandit' which is black, I have been using it for the past couple of days and I'm really impressed with it. I'm tempted to buy 'golddigger' which is a lovely golden colour and 'spoilt' which is a dark blue.

Nail Polish and Cup Cakes!

I Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend! I popped into Rye yesterday to pick up a few bits and ended up buying two new nail polishes to add to my collection.

I bought L'Oreal Color Riche in Blue Reef and French Riviera.

I'm very tempted to go back and get rebel blue!

Yesterday afternoon we had some family round and i made some really yummy strawberry cupcakes!

Althouh I think My cousin may have gone a bit OTT with the glitter sugar!

Compeed Anti Blister Stick

Hey hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. I'm so glad the weathers getting a more summery!

I went out with the girls on Saturday and wore a lovely pair of T bar shoes from Next but they tend to rub so while I was looking around my local Boots for plasters I came across the Compeed Anti Blister Sticks.

I think this product is brilliant! Its a natural based balm which you put on the area where your most likely to get a blister and it creates a barrier. I did have to apply it again through out the evening but I was so impressed with it, my feet remained blister free. No more faffing around with plasters! they look so unattractive.

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good week



Today I have used Nails Inc Porchester Square, this is such a neutral shade and will probably go with anything so I put two coats of Models Own Pink Fizz over the top.

I was having a mooch around my local Body Shop the other day and came across this cutical oil. I've been using it for about a week now and my cuticles are in much better condition and it smells amazing!

Lux Box - May

Hello my lovelies!

Sorry this post is so late! I have had such a busy weekend with work and Jubilee Celebrations!

I received my second Lux Box the other day, this is what I got!

Flicktips

This is a brand new product which i think is brilliant, especially if like me cant do cat/wing eyeliner!! You just peel them off the backing paper and stick! I got the 'classic wing' tips, but I looked on the website and there were loads of different ones with jewels on and some swirly ones too.

Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser

I don't think I will be using this product. I know the reviews have been fantastic but exfoliators play absolute havoc with my skin so I don't really want to risk it.

The Rosebud Perfume Co. Mocha Rose Tube

I can smell this and I haven't opened the packaging! It smells AMAZING!! but I will not be opening it as I have far too many on the go. I'm forever Chucking them in my hand bag just incase!!

Di Palomo Hand and Nail Cream

I got orange blossom with wild honey and olive, I have just tested it and it's left my hands lovely and soft and is now in my handbag as I have now finished the nivea one I was usuing before.

Papier Poudre Rachel Booklet

Blotting paper! I received the shade rachel, which is for medium skin tone which is perfect for me. I was using a ruby and millie before which is just a little roll of paper to lift oil and dirt but they weren't powdered so im looking forward to trying these.

Overall I am very happy with this box and i know i will use most of the products. What did you think?

This product smells fantastic! I think it smells more unisex than feminine.I know some people arn't keen on getting shower gels and lotions in there boxes, but I always like to keep a stash for if I go away or stay with friends, as I would rather take them than take all my full sized products.

Osmo, Berber Oil Hair Treatment

I have never used an oil to treat my hair before so im looking forward to testing this!

HD Brows, Grow Baby Grow

HD Brows is one of the current popular brands and have been meaning to test a few of the products so I was so excitedwhen I got this. On the packaging it states its packed full of powerful ingredients to speed up brow growth. You can also use in eyelashes too.

lso another product im loking forward to testing. Its a mousturising face mask which will come in handy as my skin gts incredibly dry.

Last but not least a Glossy box mirror which has gone straight in my handbag and a ballon which I have given to Isla to play with.

I picked up a little black nail art brush in boots the otherday, I've never tried it before so I thought I would give it ago.

This was my third attempt after my naughty dog decided to jump on my lap and jog me!

Im quite impressed although they are a bit messy! I think I need some practice!
